In July, The United States Congress had a hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena, UAP, known by some as UFOs. NewsNation reports the US has probed the question of aliens and UFOs nine times.

This year’s hearing is different because David Grusch was part of the United Aerial Phenomena Task Force created by the US Congress in 2020. As an intelligence official, David Grusch received information from numerous officials that the US federal government maintains a highly secretive UFO recovery program and has non-human spacecraft and dead pilots.

Frustrated by reprisals and threats, he took the information to the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, who already had corroborating evidence. On July 26, 2023, in his opening statement to Congress, he said: “I have taken every step I can to corroborate this evidence over a period of 4 years and to do my due diligence on the individuals sharing it, and it is because of these steps that I believe strongly in the importance of bringing this information before you.”

Past actions to hide information from the US Congress resulted in certain conclusions. Similar measures have failed this time, and Congress is gaining a more accurate understanding of the situation.

In his closing statement to, he says: “In an era, fraught with division and discord, our exploration into the UAP subject seems to resonate with an urgency and fascination that transcends political, social, and geographical boundaries. A democratic process must be adhered to when evaluating the data and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that public involvement is encouraged and respected. Indeed, the future of our civilisation and our comprehension of humanity’s place on Earth and in the cosmos depends on the success of this very process.”

Due to this information provided by David Grusch, members of Congress and the public are no longer satisfied with the findings of previous investigations. They are demanding more information and a change to the secretive practices. For example, US Congressman Burchett has sent a letter to the Intelligence Community Inspector General about UAP retrieval programs. While little is being said in mainstream media, people are pushing to know more.

Some argue that information is secret because people are not ready to hear it. But the acceptability of that as a justification has long since passed because those making the decisions to share or withhold information have not done anything to prepare people.

Intelligent inter-terrestrial and inter-dimensional life is more than an interesting fact because it raises serious questions about our place in the cosmos and worldview. Our world views place homo sapiens at the centre of the Universe and the apex of our governance systems. First Nations or indigenous people, may be considered an exception. However, there is no doubt they currently play a minor role.

As strange as it may sound, it is even a theological issue. For those that consider God made man in His image, how do we relate to an intelligent species with a greater understanding of and different relationship to The Infinite and eternal Sea Of Undifferentiated Consciousness that has unfolded and continues to unfold our Universe into the material manifestation we experience.

Some ask how could something like this be kept secret. An examination of The Manhattan Project provides some insights. The website ushistory.org reads: “Secrecy was paramount. Neither the Germans nor the Japanese could learn of the project. Roosevelt and Churchill also agreed that Stalin would be kept in the dark. Consequently, there was no public awareness or debate. Keeping 120,000 people quiet would be impossible; therefore only a small privileged cadre of inner scientists and officials knew about the atomic bomb’s development. In fact, Vice-President Truman had never heard of the Manhattan Project until he became President Truman.”
