Fermi Paradox

The Fermi paradox, named after Italian-American physicist Enrico Fermi, is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for extraterrestrial civilizations and various high estimates for their probability. The following are some of the facts that together serve to highlight the apparent contradiction:

• In the Milky Way alone, there are billions of stars similar to the Sun.
• There is a high probability, some of these stars have Earth-like planets.
• Many of these stars, and hence their planets, are much older than the Sun. If the Earth is typical, some may have developed intelligent life long ago.
• Some of these civilizations may have developed interstellar travel; a step humans are investigating now.
• Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in a few million years. But this slow pace of travel is only based upon our current technologies. Given that our understanding of such matters has been accelerating in recent years, we have every reason to believe other civilizations have solved these problems.

Aaron Abke tells us what many already believe. That is the answer to the Fermi Paradox, is in essence, we will not make open contact with extraterrestrials until we collectively acknowledge and reach out to them. He goes on to say:

“Our collective consciousness still cannot expand our minds enough to consider that such a reality is truly happening because it’s nothing like we imagined it would be in our Hollywood movies. We are still coming out of the third density of consciousness which is dominated by ego and the ego is the centre of its own universe and it cannot accept the reality of anything greater than itself. So if we want to establish contact with these benevolent beings who are here to be of service we are left with only one option we must evolve out of egoic consciousness and into unity consciousness. So although we are at a truly magical point of our planetary evolution most people still aren’t ready for it yet. So these extraterrestrials which are incredibly wise and intelligent and kind are going to approach our civilization in the same way that we would approach a frightened animal slowly and cautiously and patiently making every attempt to demonstrate that there is no hostile intention.

We are in the acclimation phase, and the sooner we begin accepting that, the sooner our species can join the galactic family that is awaiting us in the stars.”

In short, it may be an answer to the Fermi Paradox, which is that they value free will and associated cultures. Making themselves known too early in the evolutionary process would hurt society.
